Administering the Jazz Team
Server through
the Web interface
After you install and start your server, you can access
the Web interface to perform administrative tasks such as managing
users and configuring or troubleshooting the server.
Managing license keys
You can use the administrative Web interface to manage server activation
keys and client access licenses.
Managing floating client access licenses
You can install and configure floating client access licenses (CALs)
through the administrative Web interface after you determine which server
is the floating license server that has the CAL keys installed and which server
is the Jazz Team
Server that
assigns the floating CALs.
Managing projects and teams
You can use the administrative Web interface to create
and update project and team areas.
Managing users
You can use the administrative Web interface to create
or archive users and manage their permissions.
Configuring the server
You can use the administrative Web interface to modify
the server configuration properties for items such as e-mail notifications
and database connections. Some property changes require that you restart
the server.
