The activity diagram is a high-level description of the steps that are executed in the claims handling process.
An insurance holder submits data about a claim to the insurance company.
The insurance claim is checked by a clerk. The clerk can approve the claim,
deny compensation of the claim, or trigger follow-up handling of the claim.
If the claim is approved, it is then compensated.
After the claim is compensated or declined, the claim is filed.
If follow-up handling is triggered, the process waits for the specified
follow-up time.
The clerk checks the claim again. The clerk can approve the claim, decline
compensation of the claim, or trigger follow-up handling.
