For this sample there is no process application provided. We simply
want you to delete a process application that is currently available in
your repository. Therefore you can simply move on and delete
one of your process applications.
Logon to IBM Process Designer with a user
that has admin rights, and open
Process
Center perspective.

Select the process application you want to
delete (by simply hovering over it):

Then click on the process application to open
the view presenting its tip and snapshots (if there are any), and click on
manage:

Then click Archive process application on the
right hand site:

A message box will inform you about the
following: “Archiving a process application removes it from the
Process Centerrepository.
You cannot edit archived process applications and you must select
the Archived filter to view them or restore them to the repository.”
Simply click on Archive to complete archiving the process application:

Return to the process application View in
Process Center:
Select ‘Archived’ to only list the archived process
applications:
Only the process applications that are
archived are presented:
Now select the process application (hover
over it with the mouse), and click on it:
You will see an apparently empty screen,
however it is not empty, as you can see the process application’s name on the
upper left side:
Now click on Delete Process App on the right
hand side.
A message box will inform you about the following:
“Warning!
Deletion of a process application or toolkit is not reversible. Ensure that you
have created an export of the Process App or toolkit before you continue with
this action. If you do not want to proceed with the deletion at this time, you can
cancel it by closing this window.”
Now, if you are really sure to delete this
process application, hit the Delete button.
The process application was (normally)
successfully deleted. You won’t get a success message box or something similar,
this time you really have an empty screen. The reason for this is that the
filter showing other process applications is set to ‘Archived’. As the deleted
process application was the only archived process application,
Process Center doesn’t list any other process
application. Simply click on ‘All’ to view other available process
applications.
This is it. You have successfully completed
this exercise.
There is much
more to explore in IBM Business Process Manager v751.
However – in
order to get to lunch (or dinner) – this is the end of the exercise.
