7526 DCT Reference
The 7526 DCT uses these RAM files:
- File 0&mdash.Terminal Operating Parameters and Transaction Programs
- File 1&mdash.Fast Clocking Times
- Files 2-7&mdash.User Verification Files
- File 8&mdash.Message File
- File 9&mdash.Transaction Queue File
- File a&mdash.User Defined Keypad Layout (Model 200 only)
- File c&mdash.Custom Function Routines
- File e&mdash.Extended Validation Support.
Files 0, 8, and 9 are required&mdash.the others are optional.
This section describes these files and their record formats.
Two file attributes are defined in the 7526 DCT and are applicable only
to the user verification files (files 2-7)
specified in CMD 9B (initialize specified text file):
- Sorted
- If numeric, a sorted file has its members arranged in
ascending numerical order;
if alphanumeric, the members are ordered alphabetically.
Files are sorted if they use Code Page 850 collation sequence; no
other type of collation sequence is supported.
- Fixed length
- Applicable only if all records are the same length.
