Initializing Disk Space

If you are starting a new database server for the first time, or you want to remove all dbspaces and their associated data, use the following command to initialize the disk space and to bring the database server into online mode:

xctl -C oninit -iy

Warning:
When you execute this command, all existing data in the database server disk space is destroyed. Use the -i flag only when you are starting a new instance of the database server.
