After fast recovery executes, the database server initiates a checkpoint. As part of the checkpoint procedure, the database server writes a checkpoint-complete message in the message log. For more information about checkpoints, refer to Checkpoints.
The database server now moves to quiescent mode or online mode, depending on how you started the initialization process.
