You can turn residency on or off for the resident portion
of shared memory in either of the following two ways:
- Use the onutil SET command to reverse
the state of shared-memory residency immediately while the database
server is in online mode.
- Change the RESIDENT parameter in the ONCONFIG file
to turn shared-memory residency on or off for the next time that
you initialize the database server shared memory.
