All the databases managed by a single database server instance store their log records in the same logical log, regardless of whether they use transaction logging or whether their transaction logging is buffered. For information on transaction logging, see Logging. If you want to change the database-logging status, see Settings or Changes for Logging Status or Mode.
Most end users should not be concerned with the logical-log files. The primary administrative tasks include managing individual logical-log files and determining how much disk space to allocate to the logical log.
