You can use the Query Monitor on a Windows NT console to view a query plan or to monitor database server performance. The Plan Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) gathers the data that the Query Monitor displays.

Use the PLAN_MONITORING configuration parameter to turn the Plan Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) on or off.
