Monitoring Overall Performance

Use the following onstat commands with xctl to monitor general database server performance across all coservers.

Option
Description
xctl onstat -p
Displays a performance profile that includes the number of reads and writes, the number of different ISAM calls of all categories, the number of times that a resource was requested but was not available, and other miscellaneous information.
xctl onstat -x
Displays information about transactions, including the thread identifier of the user who owns the transaction.
xctl onstat -u
Displays a user activity profile that provides information about user threads, including the thread owner's session ID and login name.
