Changing Database Logging Status

When you add logging to a database, you must create a level-0 backup before the change takes effect.

-A
directs ontape to change the status of the specified database to ANSI-compliant logging.
-B
directs ontape to change the status of the specified database to buffered logging.
database
is the name of the database. The database name cannot include a database server name.
-N
directs ontape to end logging for the specified database.
-s
initiates a backup.
-U
directs ontape to change the status of the specified database to unbuffered logging.
