This chapter describes a feature that enables the DBA to specify a list of dbspaces and dbslices that are the only storage spaces available to users who hold the Resource privilege (but not the DBA privilege) for certain DDL operations. This can reduce the risk of users consuming storage space that is needed by the DBSA or the DBA for other critical processes.
