Concurrent maintenance is the capability to complete I/O operations on an IBM® XIV® Storage System models while simultaneously completing maintenance operations on the system.
Some maintenance operations might require a complete restart of the IBM® XIV® Storage System systems. However, such procedures are not supported when the IBM® XIV® Storage System is attached to the the system.
