Dropping a Table in a Table Hierarchy

If a table and its corresponding named row type have no dependencies (they are not a supertable and supertype), you can drop the table and its type. You must drop the table before you can drop the type. For general information about dropping a table, see the DROP TABLE statement in the IBM Informix: Guide to SQL Syntax. For information about how to drop a named row type, see Dropping Named Row Types.
