This chapter describes a new single-user mode of Extended Parallel Server that the DBSA can use when performing maintenance, migration, and reversion tasks. This feature can reduce the risk of operations in concurrent sessions of users who are not user informix from interfering with maintenance or migration tasks of the Database Server Administrator.
